This role will be based in New York San Francisco Mountain View or Sunnyvale. 

The Director of NAMER & Global Client Programs (GCP) Sales Strategy and Operations is a key business advisor and operational leader who functions as a chief of operations for the Head of NAMER & GCP segments within LinkedIns Talent Solutions business. This role focuses on enabling scale driving execution and modernizing how the sales organization plans operates and makes decisions. 

This leader brings a strong bias to action an eye for scalable impact and an innovation-driven mindset. They challenge the status quo push systems and thinking forward and leverage data and AI-enabled insights to unlock growth and efficiency across a complex global sales organization. 

This leader will be responsible for leading a high-performing team focused on annual planning business performance operations and strategic initiatives. They partner closely with senior sales and cross-functional leaders to translate strategy into execution in a fast-paced high-growth environment and help executives make data-driven decisions using customer and sales data including metrics such as average selling price order volume growth and product whitespace analysis. 

As a key member of the global leadership team this role supports and drives global initiatives while ensuring high standards of operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an exceptional business and people leader with strong quantitative problem-solving communication and project management skills capable of handling complex high-scope tasks and sensitive information and leading a team to identify opportunities innovate processes and drive business growth. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Build develop and lead a top-caliber sales strategy and operations team.  

  • Lead sales operations for the NAMER & GCP Talent Solution business including but not limited to:  

  • Designing and articulating the strategy and priorities for NAMER and GCP 

  • Providing clear scalable visibility into business performance  

  • Driving system improvements and operational efficiency including the adoption of AI and advanced analytics where appropriate 

  • Designing building and optimizing sales territories and coverage models with a scaling mindset 

  • Setting annual goals quotas and capacity plans aligned to business priorities 

  • Serve as a trusted business advisor to NAMER & GCP sales leadership proactively challenging assumptions and influencing decision-making. 

  • Drive decision-making and program development by deriving analytics and insights from our CRM and other systems.  

  • Lead high-impact strategic and operational initiatives that evolve and transform LinkedIns sales model globally. 

  • Partner cross-functionally (e.g. Finance HR GTM Operations) to deliver mission-critical programs role alignment and integrated solutions. 


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 10 years in operations sales management consulting finance or investment banking.   
  • 6 years people management experience.   
  • BA or BS degree.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience working in B2B SaaS businesses or with other sales organizations.  
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change innovate within systems and operate with a disruptive improvement-oriented mindset. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to mobilize cross functional teams towards a common goal.  
  • Strong communication skills including written and verbal communication experience with senior management.   
  • Track record in scaling Ops function including integrating AI solutions into workflows.  
  • Experience managing large teams and/or managing managers as well as leading global teams.  
  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to translate data into insight and action.
  • Able to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational execution.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.    

The pay range for this role is $178000 to $288000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
