Components Maintenance Auckland is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Safety/Pressure Cell Component Repair workshop as a dayshift Engineer. Components continues to be critical for both the airlines operational resilience and in generating revenue through thirdparty contracts.
The successful candidate will be selfmotivated and able to work as part of a team that ensures OTP/TAT targets are met without compromising safety or operational integrity. They will maintain a high standard of work quality under tight timeframes.
We are looking for people who are committed to a safe workplace are passionately customerfocused and enjoy working collaboratively. Youll be adept at thinking outside the square while meeting compliance and legislative/regulatory standards. Strong communication skills are critical along with the ability to relate to and interact with a wide range of stakeholders on a daytoday basis.
The successful candidate will be working within a highly regulated environment and must be able to meet tight deadlines while adapting to operational demand in support of our operational resilience and Kia Mau strategy.
Prerequisites for the position include:
- NZqualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and be resultsfocused
- A commitment to Health and Safety and the Safety Management System
- A commitment to continuous improvement and 5S
- Preferred experience with pressure vessels slide mechanical systems or component maintenance
