Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our dynamic team. As a Cashier you will be the face of our store providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for our clientele. Your primary responsibility will involve handling transactions with accuracy and efficiency while also assisting with customer inquiries and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash credit and debit transactions while ensuring proper change and receipts are provided.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area and ensure all merchandise is organized.
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner offering suitable solutions when possible.
- Count cash in the cash drawer at the start of shifts and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
