Job Summary

The Behavior Support Supervisor will oversee the implementation and quality of behavioral services in a K-8 grade Charter School in NE Philadelphia. This role includes providing supervision to a team of behavior support staff delivering behavioral consultation and training to families and classroom teams and ensuring the fidelity of interventions.

Leadership & Supervision: Oversee a team of PC paraprofessionals ensuring effective implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans that monitor treatment fidelity and accurate data collection. Monitor staffing needs to maintain appropriate student-to-staff ratios and collaborate with program leadership to hire or onboard additional staff as needed to ensure continuity of services. Complete the performance evaluation process for assigned staff.

Behavior Support Planning: Develop and supervise individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans incorporating therapy consultation and family support to achieve behavioral and communication goals.

Student Assessments & Plans: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students receiving services collaborating on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Progress Monitoring.

Data Monitoring & Program Evaluation: Supervise behavioral data collection assess student progress and revise strategies as needed to support skill acquisition and behavioral improvements.

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely records including progress notes Progress Reports Functional Behavioral Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plans. Maintain a schedule of compliance monitoring activities to assure that program operations are kept within State and/or Federal regulations.

Clinical Supervision & Training: Provide clinical oversite of PCA paraprofessionals provide professional development to team and school personnel as requested. 

 

 

 


Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Psychology Education Social Work or a related field
  • Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License required
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst preferred
  • Valid drivers license
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in supervision and/or team management
  • Familiarity with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Ability to train and support teachers staff and families on behavior management strategies
  • Comfort working within IEP teams and contributing behavioral recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and reporting
  • Prior experience with Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) preferred
  • Experience in a school-based settings preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
  • Prior crisis prevention/intervention training preferred
