As a Data Science MLOps Working Student you will be the catalyst that removes friction from our data scientists and engineers daily work. Youll work closely with our MLOps Engineers Machine Learning Engineers and data scientists to build the automation backbone of our central MLOps Platform. Think of yourself as the architect of developer experience youll create the infrastructure automation that allows our teams to move fast turning ticket requests into deployed resources in minutes instead of days. Youll gain hands-on experience designing self-service systems and intelligent automation pipelines that power production-ready AI/ML at scale in business-critical environments.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Build intelligent automation pipelines that transform infrastructure requests (S3 buckets Kubernetes SageMaker projects databases and more) into self-service experiences. No more waiting for manual provisioning
• Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions that allow data scientists and ML engineers to spin up compliant secure resources with a single click or API call
• Create and maintain automated workflows that integrate ticket systems with cloud provisioning turning customer requests into deployed infrastructure seamlessly
• Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure automated deployments are successful and resources are properly configured
• Collaborate closely with experienced MLOps and Machine Learning Engineers as well as data scientists to understand their pain points and build tools that make their lives easier
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for cloud infrastructure security and scalability

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Informatics or a related technical field
• Strong foundation in Python and comfort with scripting for automation purposes
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) you should be comfortable navigating cloud consoles and understanding core services
• Problem-solving mindset: youre solution-oriented proactive and dont just identify problems but bring ideas on how to fix them
• Self-directed learner: youre excited to dive into new technologies experiment and figure things out
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and you thrive in culturally diverse teams
