This role supports our site in Berlin and will be involved in the daily warehouse operations. The role will involve the picking packing and transfer of goods to the courier being responsible for the goods-in processes and organising and maintaining inventory and storage areas.
The position will cross-collaborate with customer services manufacturing purchasing and the export coordinator team. The successful candidate for this role will have exceptional organisational skills great attention to detail and be able to work within a fast-paced environment. All activities should be done while following all EH&S requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods.
- Completing visual inspections of inbound packages and comparing to documentation
- Responsible for picking and packing of orders to be dispatched to customers.
- Managing time effectively to ensure all orders are available for dispatch when planned.
- Carry our regular cycle counts.
- Complete ERP system transactions to ensure the system is an accurate reflection of the physical stock.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
- Review shipping consumables inventory levels and advise supervisor or purchasing when an order is required.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Actively contribute to developing improvements to processes.
- Undertake reasonable duties as requested by the general manager.
Qualifications :
Experience Required
- Experience within the warehouse goods-in and shipping.
- Ability to work well both in a team environment and without supervision.
- ERP system knowledge
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Conversational English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Experience Desired
- IFS ERP knowledge
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint).
- Warehouse including goods-in and shipping.
- Understanding of import and export shipping documentation
- Lean Techniques and Tools.
- Broader Supply Chain knowledge.
