The Release Manager oversees and coordinates all aspects of release management ensuring that interdependent projects are integrated into a single solution and delivered in a unified release. They act as the link between project management and the other teams during the transition to production. Their responsibilities include planning resource allocation stakeholder communication risk management and ensuring the overall quality of the release process. They also monitor the release/deployment execution and support the resolution of any issues identified during this phase.
Main tasks:
- Oversee the entire Release process and facilitate all meetings required to support it.
- Track the release calendar and make any necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with process timelines and overall group deadlines.
- Manage risks and assess potential impacts related to each release.
- Ensure all release stakeholders have the appropriate communication channels and information availability.
- Follow up on remediation actions arising from issues detected during release implementation.
Qualifications :
Technical Skills:
Experience in Release Management or Project Management
Definition of performance indicators
Organization and coordination of meetings
Knowledge of IT systems development process and promotion between environments and expertise in Excel and Office suite
Report and PdS in a structured and concise manner
Good level of Portuguese B1/B2
Good level of English B2
