Job Summary
MAIN TASKS
- Assist in designing and deploying secure scalable and cost-effective cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Support the automation of cloud resource provisioning monitoring and scaling under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help maintain data backup recovery and basic disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams to learn and apply Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and security best practices.
- Assist in configuring and optimizing cloud networking to support data movement between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Explore and experiment with emerging Azure services including serverless computing and analytics tools.
- Support Azure DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure updates.
- Participate in troubleshooting documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Cloud Computing or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts preferably with exposure to Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks or interest in learning them.
- Foundational knowledge of automation or scripting tools (e.g. Bicep Terraform Azure CLI or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Basic awareness of cloud security concepts IAM and data protection principles.
- Introductory knowledge of networking concepts and hybrid cloud environments is an advantage.
- Interest in DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Strong problem-solving mindset eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Azure certifications or coursework (e.g. Azure Fundamentals) are a plus but not required.
