Job Summary
Clean and maintain all public and back-of-house areas including lobbies corridors restrooms spa gym restaurants bars conference rooms laundry and staff areas.
Perform routine deep and special cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and chemicals safely.
Replenish consumables and handle guest laundry according to hotel procedures.
Dispose of rubbish safely report maintenance issues faulty equipment or hazards promptly.
Follow procedures for lost property key security and guest safety.
Comply with all health safety hygiene and security standards.
Assist with additional duties as required by Housekeeping department.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning will be advantageous (hotel experience preferred but not essential)
High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Reliable punctual and well-presented
Strong understanding of health and safety practices
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
