What You Get to Do:
The Program Coordinator (PC) is the lead direct support professional foran assigned Supported Living PrograminOlympia WA and will be responsible providing direct support hands-on instruction assistance and positive direction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health safety successful achievement of service objectives and personal goals.
This is not a supervisory role. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.
- Enrich and support the lives of our residents whilemaintaininga safe and healthy environment
- Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
- Assistclientswith activities of daily living including dressing bathing grooming toileting and eating.
- Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Assistwith transportation needs for community outings appointments and errands
- Implement behavior supports and de-escalation during challenging behaviors
- Provide mobility and transferassistance which mayinclude usingmechanical lift devices.
- Administrative duties such asassistingwith schedules one-on-one training of staffdocumentationand follow-up of individual and program related issues and ensuring compliance with policies and Oregon Administrative Rules.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- 2 years of caregiver experience required(experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred)
- Valid drivers licenserequired
- Must be at least 21 years old
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Have a passion to help others through person-centered care
- People-oriented and have a team approach
- Dependable adaptableandflexible
- Goodcommunicationis key in this on your reading writing andcommunicationskills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
- Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training
