Basic Job Functions:
Locate pull and bring orders using a sit-down forklift
- Stage and organize the material from receiving and fabrication team
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Keep updated records of inventory activity logs and audits of tags
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Other duties as assigned
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a sit-down forklift operator
Workedin a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working for a manufacturing company
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
