Job Summary
If you are a Manufacturing Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee Chanhassen or Eden Prairie MN location you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the development of technologies products and/or processes to meet quality cost schedule safety and performance goals.
- Apply technical expertise in the production of products.
- Select design or recommend tools fixtures and equipment.
- Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and cost.
- Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs.
- Solve production problems and improve process capabilities.
- Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews.
- Interact with other functional groups vendors or customers.
- Participate in the administration of technical procedures.
- Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations.
- Support capacity model and lean initiatives. May participate in lean six sigma improvement teams.
- May interact with teammates in numerous global locations
- May be required to travel to other Emerson factories in the United States China Romania and Mexico

- Bachelors in engineering
- Zero (0) years of applicable experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturingis preferred.

The starting salary for this role is $74000annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
