Job Summary
Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to business unit (BU). Ensure valuable information transfer from BU to Finance team and conversely. Propose and communicate necessary changes in business practices to reach compliance.
Responsibilities
Financial planning and budget management
Support the preparation of forecast and AOP (Annual Operating Plan)
Monitor and analyze operating results against plan and review with cost center managers
Provide analytical support prepare regular and ad hoc reports
Capital Expenditures
Tracking and reporting of investment spending against the budget
Support engineering team in investment process
Collects the details needed for asset capitalization
Ensures documentation according to SOX requirements
Monthly Closing Process
Checking the Actual costs vs. Forecast
Creation of the Accruals with an emphasis on factual and timely correctness
Issue of the Intercompany and external Invoices
Cost control
Keep track of actual costs especially in the area of CSW and IT licenses
Approving of purchase requisitions with focus on accounting and budgetary limits
Providing coding for invoices to the AP team
R&D tax credit and incentives (Czech Republic)
Provide finance support for currently running subsidy programs
Tracking of the costs and regular reporting
Assuring compliance with program rules (financial part)
Coordinating preparation of R&D (Research and Development) tax documentation
Others
Adherence to financial policies and procedures
Provide support to FP&A Leader
Cooperation with Controllership team
Qualification
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance
2 years experience in finance area (finance analysis accounting taxes auditing)
Analytical skills
MS Office general MS Excel upper intermediate level (pivot tables)
Finance or accounting general background (accounting / audit certification not required)
English at fluent level
SAP system knowledge (advantage)
Attention to detail
