Manufacturing Engineering Intern

• Partner with operations teams to proactively investigate contain and resolve quality issues ensuring compliance with established standards and minimizing production disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying advanced statistical techniques to analyze processes and implement product enhancements that optimize efficiency and reduce variability.
• Troubleshoot and stabilize manufacturing processes that are out of control leveraging root cause analysis and corrective measures to restore operational integrity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Designers/Drafters to define tooling and fixturing requirements and lead projects focused on tooling optimization and innovation.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance Purchasing and Design Engineering to evaluate and disposition discrepant parts and assemblies identify root causes and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
• Lead and execute small to medium-scale capital projects ensuring alignment with strategic objectives budget constraints and timeline requirements.
• Apply deep expertise in manufacturing processes within your area of responsibility to influence decision-making enhance production capabilities and support organizational growth.
  

• You are detail-oriented analytical and proactive in solving problems. You demonstrate strong math and computer skills work independently and communicate effectively. You take initiative to learn ask questions and apply sound engineering practices to improve processes and outcomes.
  

• Pursuing a bachelors in engineering
• Zero (0) years of related experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person in Brenham TX
  

• Pursuing a bachelors in Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial or Software Engineering Mechatronics and MMET
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Prior internship or related work experience
