Job Summary
Associate Project Finance & Investments wanted by Safari Energy LLC dba Aspen Power in New York NY.
Prepare and manage project-level financial models for valuation and risk assessment. Assist in coordination of portfolio-level due diligence ahead of project acquisition; Write investment memorandums and prepare presentations summarizing key findings from internal and external sources; Support marketing and origination of new project finance transactions by preparing information memoranda and marketing materials; Support due diligence process including Independent Engineer legal and insurance diligence required for financing; Manage data rooms for external parties and coordinate with internal departments; Monitor existing financing and support funding processes waivers amendments and reporting obligations; Review financial models assembled by junior team members; Coordinate with asset management team to build and maintain asset model tracking performance and go-forward expectations for Aspens operating fleet; Mentor junior hires through model walkthroughs and state-specific teaching sessions; Drive the creation of financial models for debt and tax equity financings being able to apply best modeling practices and growing comfortable with complex financing structures. Salary: $144290.00/year
Requires: Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a closely related field and 2 years in the job offered or as a financial analyst in the solar energy industry. Requires 2 years of experience using the following:
Microsoft Excel: for building and maintaining complex financial models;
Macabacus: Microsoft Excel add-on to assist in the creation of financial models;
Microsoft Office Suite: including Word PowerPoint and Outlook for document creation presentation and communication;
Microsoft Teams / SharePoint / Dynamics: tools for team communication and collaboration;
Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs): platforms enabling secure document sharing during due diligence;
Jonas or similar budget tracking platform.
