At ING we are looking for a Financial Strategic Development Lead
We are looking for a knowledgeable and delivery-oriented Financial Strategic Development Lead that would like to take an exciting opportunity in ING Spain & Portugal for helping us to define and drive our ambition to be a strategic partner to senior management and business leaders.
You will be one of the leaders within the Management Accounting team in the CFO function.
The Financial Strategic Development Lead will have a small direct reporting team and it will work in strong and close collaboration with Finance Business & Budget Partners colleagues as well as in a hybrid collaboration with Global ING teams.
You will act as an advisor to the key business leaders in the bank for steering business development and contribute to shape the banks future.
You will build collaborative relationships to ensure early engagement with business teams to become part of the strategic discussion of new opportunities aligned with the Banks strategy.
You will act as a finance trusted partner providing an E2E holistic view on new segments P&L & BS providing insights challenging assumptions and supporting strategic decisions that drive business growth.
You will develop market knowledge and a strong outside-in-view. You will drive collaboration with global stakeholders contributing to strategic initiatives beyond local scope provide local expertise for international projects.
This position will place you in a dynamic environment with frequent exposure to senior leaders growth potential and the ability to have real impact on the future of our bank. You will receive close support and attention from your manager and peers in the delivery of your duties and your professional development.

A strong set of technical and analytical abilities:
Master or bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience (preferably in banking and/or consulting).
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.
Good analytical skills. Understanding of advanced financial modelling and model optimization / automatization.
Proven planning & organizational skills.
Problem solving mindset.
Well-developed cooperation and communication skills (also in a digital way of working) to be able to act as a linking pin and smoothly interact with all departments and colleagues involved
Ability to work on an international level.

Ser el/la finance partner de las personas responsables de lanzar nuevos negocios segmentos y explorar oportunidades.
Control y análisis completos del P&L (ingresos gastos riesgo) Balance Sheet RWA cifras de clientes y KPIs clave.
Alineamiento con los dominios clave de ING (CIO COO CTO).
Capacidad para traducir análisis y performance del negocio en presentaciones concisas y poderosas.
Elaboración de strategy papers y presentaciones (ExCo offsites reuniones con senior management) así como participación en Local / Global Steercos.
Optimizar los procesos de business cases asegurando consistencia y completitud liberando capacidad para análisis de valor añadido.
Co-desarrollar modelos financieros en estrecha colaboración con Business & Budget Partner.
Asumir ownership y responsabilidad sobre la integridad de datos financieros y procesos relacionados con nuevos segmentos reforzando la calidad de los procesos clave.
Impulsar el desarrollo continuo del equipo inspirando y retando para su crecimiento profesional y adquisición de nuevas capacidades.
Contribuir activamente a la función global de strategic partnering/financial planning aportando profundo conocimiento del negocio y del producto a discusiones estratégicas transversales.
Incorporar insights externos a las discusiones estratégicas incluyendo tendencias de mercado y estrategias de competidores.
