About the Role
Based in Bunbury this position will report to the General Manager of Clinical Operations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated clinical professional (Enrolled or Registered Nurse) to join our dynamic team in the newly developed role of Nurse Consultant.
Our new team member will add value to our team whilst completing the tasks listed below:
Develop (in consultation) implement and monitor Clinical Governance frameworks and policies.
Lead initiatives to improve clinical quality and safety.
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Support clinical team in the identification and management of actions plans to address identified issues.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Prepare and present reports on clinical governance activities to Senior Leadership Team.
What you bring:
To be successful in this role you will possess the skills and experience below:
Tertiary qualification in Nursing (Diploma or Bachelor as applicable).
Current Nursing registration with AHPRA (Division 1 or 2).
Demonstrated ability to analyse data and report information.
High level computer skills including database management.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology.
Good interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (desirable)
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
Qualification: Registered or Enrolled Nurse
Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical mental health role
Full registration with AHPRA
Pre-Employment Health Assessment
A valid WA drivers licence
A valid and clear police check
A Working with Children Check (WWC)
