What to Expect:
You will play a leading role in shaping strategic planning product & portfolio roadmaps and developing breakthrough Marketing plans on the core business of an iconic Global Brand KitKat. As a Marketing Manager you will operate as a central decision maker guiding the business a critical stakeholder for a diverse cross functional team and a role model for excellence in Brand Building. To be successful you will engage with a matrix of internal and global stakeholders to develop and deliver your plans with lots of autonomy and support to thrive. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life:
- Model consumer centricity bringing to bear key consumer and commercial insights to ensure execution strategy is rooted in crafting durable growth and value
- Lead and champion the development of Marketing plans and portfolio strategy to accelerate the growth of KitKat Countlines portfolio identifying incremental growth pools in line with BU Strategy
- Influence with integrity bringing to bear local and international KK and Market leads to achieve goals
- Ensure execution reflects Brand fundamentals and that communications modernize to build on the strong foundation of a leading equity in Chocolate
- Be a champion for Canadas needs develop and unlock an ambitious 3 Year innovation plan driving clarity scalability and incrementality; partnering with key collaborators (Co-man SBU IMS manufacturing Project leads) to secure the big bets
- Drive long term value creation using supplier relationship management or price-pack architecture to optimize the business according to evolving Consumer demands
- Collaborate with our shopper marketing and commercial partners to ensure KitKat is Impossible to Ignore at every key consumer touchpoint
Role Requirements
- The agility to anticipate and pivot in an ever-changing environment proactive in the face of business and project challenges
- Build trust and credibility across levels as a cross functional leader influencing with integrity to motivate commercial opserational and global marketing partners to deliver with excellence
- High ownership and decisive nature with a can-do attitude and the ability to judge and take calculated risks to deliver business results at the strategic and executional levels.
- Entrepreneurial problem solver with the courage to question the norm and do things differently
- Strong understanding of P&L drivers and how to impact them
- Comfort working individually as well as a part of a diverse cross-functional team. Experience managing external and agency partners a plus.
- Min 5 years of Marketing experience with 2 years in a Manager or brand lead capacity
- Proven ability in a coaching capacity with desire to act as a mentor that can make an impact on the broader Confectionery Marketing team
