Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end outbound logistics and transportation solutions to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of goods supporting business continuity and service level commitments;
- Manage logistics costs in line with budget and Operating Plan targets ensuring disciplined execution and adherence to approved strategies and policies;
- Monitor and drive OTD performance actively managing deviations root causes and recovery actions with carriers and internal teams;
- Ensure timely collection validation and prioritization of Proof of Delivery (POD) with special focus on Sales-critical orders and month-end revenue support;
- Provide direct operational support to Sales during month-end close prioritizing deliveries and PODs to enable expected revenue recognition.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of logistics operations and business drivers to make informed decisions balancing service cost and risk.
- Use judgment to propose and implement practical solutions including actions outside standard parameters when required with appropriate guidance and alignment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning Sales Warehousing Finance EHS and external partners to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution.
- Act as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills providing informal guidance knowledge sharing and operational direction to less experienced team members while supporting talent development when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- This position requires solid experience in Logistics and Transportation operations. Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college preferably in Business Administration Industrial/Production Engineering Economics Logistics or related fields or a high school diploma with relevant professional experience in logistics transportation or supply chain operations.
