Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the RPA development and testing of software applications
• Bring fresh ideas and suggest improvements to software where necessary
• Write clean efficient and maintainable code
• Collaborate with team members on project design and implementation
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development practices
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Help with the documentation of software features and processes

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science Software Engineering or related program
• Familiarity with programming languages such Python JavaScript Angular HTML5 CSS
• Familiarity with Software testing and Test automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL NoSQL)
• Exposure to agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques

Duration: May to August 4 months

Total Direct Compensation:

Any pay range is in $CAD
