In the role of Storage Operations Engineer you will monitor natural gas storage performance analyze field capacities and support injection/withdrawal decisions. Its an excellent job for people who enjoy data analysis operations and energy markets.

Placement Details:

This is an 3 month placement starting in June 2026 located in Houston TX.

What you will do:

Monitor the daily performance of natural gas storage assets.
Evaluate physical capabilities including injection withdrawal and wheeling activities.
Recommend and prioritize storage fields for injection and withdrawal in coordination with Enbridge Gas Control.
Prepare update and publish customer communications related to storage facility outages.
Develop maintain and update Storage Optimization procedures and documentation.
Support operational and optimization decisions through data analysis and collaboration with internal teams.

Who you are:

You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Bachelors degree in Engineering and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).

Working Conditions:

Office based role located in Houston TX.
Relocation assistance is not provided.
