Were seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. Youll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth audio-visual operations for committee meetings public hearings functions and other parliamentary proceedings.

This role is working 40hrs per week on a 7 day roster. The postholder must be flexible to cover non-core business hours as and when needed.

  • Set up operate and maintain audio-visual equipment for press conferences select committee meetings parliamentary function and other wider events.
  • Provide technical support for video conferencing and live streaming on parliamentary sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in real time.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet specific AV requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry leading AV technologies and recommend improvements.

The expected salary range for this role is $72374 - $79907 per annum. Appointments will be made on skills and experience.

  • Proven experience as an AV technician is required.
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems including microphones speakers cameras and video conferencing platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular hours.

This role would suit someone who is proactive selfstarter shows initiative and maintains a calm professional approach.
