Were seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. Youll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth audio-visual operations for committee meetings public hearings functions and other parliamentary proceedings.

This role is working 40hrs per week on a 7 day roster. The postholder must be flexible to cover non-core business hours as and when needed.

Set up operate and maintain audio-visual equipment for press conferences select committee meetings parliamentary function and other wider events.
Provide technical support for video conferencing and live streaming on parliamentary sessions.
Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in real time.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet specific AV requirements.
Stay up to date with industry leading AV technologies and recommend improvements.

The expected salary range for this role is $72374 - $79907 per annum. Appointments will be made on skills and experience.

Proven experience as an AV technician is required.
Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems including microphones speakers cameras and video conferencing platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work outside of regular hours.
