Job Summary
We are looking for a maintenance superstar with a positive can do attitude to join our Maintenance team!
What you will be doing:
- Assist the Chief Engineer and team with day to day maintenance requirements of all hotel plant and equipment as well as general upkeep of the rooms.
- Maintain high standards of appearance and safety for grounds and rooms.
- Complete daily rounds and promptly respond to and resolve maintenance requests.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Accor WHS standards.
- Ensure proper use maintenance and storage of all equipment.
- Ensure compliance with external contractor management processes.
- Complete tasks in required timeframes.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a similar Maintenance role is ideal with a previous trade background preferred (Carpentry Electrical or Plumbing).
- Basic knowledge in areas of HVAC Painting and computer skills.
- Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
- Effective time management and problem-solving ability.
- Physically fit to be able to carry out day to day Maintenance requirements.
- Flexible to work shifts on weekends as required.
