About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

• 24-bay emergency department

• 60 acute inpatient beds

• 4 operating rooms

• Level 1 cardiac capability

• Advanced imaging and other outpatient testing

• Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

• Primary Care

• Neurology

• Cardiology

• Vascular

• Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

Position Purpose:

The Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation Functions within the standards policies procedures and guidelines of the organization.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)

• BLS certification required

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred

• Minimum one (1) year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred
