Your future duties and responsibilities:
Job Description:
Experienced Java Backend Developer to design and implement scalable backend systems using Microservices architecture and Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java frameworks and distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure scalable backend services using Spring Boot.
Develop microservices and integrate with Kafka for event streaming.
Manage relational databases and optimize queries.
Deploy and monitor applications on Azure using Docker/Kubernetes.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality.
Ensure adherence to best practices.
Write clean maintainable and well-documented code.
Implement unit tests integration tests.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4 years of experience in backend development with Java 8.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot Spring Cloud and Microservices design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (topics partitions consumer groups schema registry).
Proficiency in RESTful APIs JSON and message-driven architecture.
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2 JWT encryption).
Proficiency in ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit Mockito) and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
