Job Summary
Star Group is Powering Up New Service Projects Join Us as an Electrician!
Star Group is seeking experienced Electricians to support a growing pipeline of commercial and retail projects. Work will begin at the Castle Towers Shopping Centre redevelopment with progression to other $30M service projects.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering high-quality service upgrades and minor project works across various commercial environments. Youll be part of a supportive team working on well-managed sites with a focus on safety quality and professionalism.
What we offer:
- The Sydney Service Enterprise Agreement sets the base rate at $47.85 with additional charges for travel fares and productivity. Exciting updates are coming as we review the agreement and will share the new rate soon!

What Youll Be Working On
- Minor projects upgrades and service works within shopping centres and commercial facilities
- Installation testing and commissioning of lighting power and control systems
- MSB works cable tray installation and electrical upgrades
- Fault finding repairs and client liaison for reactive and planned service works
- Ongoing support across a growing pipeline of Service Division projects
What Were Looking For
- A valid NSW Electrical contractor or supervisor licence
- Valid White card and Valid Drivers Licence
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a qualified Electrician
- Experience in commercial service or maintenance environments
- Experience working at heights (EWP or working at heights ticket is desirable)
- Solid knowledge of switchboards RCD testing and emergency lighting systems
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to follow procedures with excellent attention to detail.
