In this role youll have the opportunity to teach guide and assess young enthusiastic students as they begin their journey in the culinary world. Youll be more than an assessor youll be a mentor who helps shape future professionals by offering valuable feedback support and encouragement.

Requirements
- CA/Hospitality qualification on a NQF 6 level beneficial
- Certified as an Assessor
- CATHSSETA Scoping beneficial
- Drivers license and own transport essential
- Established network in the hospitality industry essential
- Vocational POE and practical assessment experience
- Student support experience
- Minimum 2 years Culinary Arts experience as a chef
- Lecturing / teaching/assessor experience beneficial
Required Skills:
Responsibilities: Facilitation in accordance with the learning outcomes as set for the animation programme with a focus on practical application theoretical frameworks workflow and technique. Mentor students conduct consultations and facilitate learning opportunities. Research relevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson plans. Evaluation moderation invigilation and assessment of learning. Keep accurate records of evidence (e.g. attendance assessment results). Adhere to SAE policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the HOA.
