You will be a valued teammate of a 20-bed medical-surgical progressive unit also known as Post Surgical 3. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses and conditions. Our unit includes 3 progressive beds designed for postoperative or higher-acuity surgical patients.We primarily care for hepatobiliary surgical patients as well as womens health cases.
The Surgical unit provides a great learning environment for nurses of all experience levels and interests. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for new teammates focusing on teamwork communication positivity and quality care.
ExpectationsWereLooking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure inan appropriate state. Minium two years nursing experience preferred.Previousmanagement experience preferred. BSN is. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) iswithin 1 year of eligibility of professional certification exam.
