    SUMMARY

    Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers. Worksextensively with students to help improve specific reading skills. Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials in order promote interest in reading.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 with Middle Grades Math Approved Area 6-8 or Math Endorsement K-8
    OR
    Arizona Secondary Certificate 6-12 with Math or Middle Grades Math Approved Area 6-8 or Math Endorsement K-8
    Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
    Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
    Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
    Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.
