Job Summary

SUMMARY
Designs develops and evaluates Speech and Language therapy services for an Individual Education Plan (IEP)
to meet the specific needs of students who qualify for speech and language therapy services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A Masters or more advanced degree from an accredited institution in speech pathology or communication
disorders.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association
Must hold current ArizonaDepartment of Health Services (DHS) Speech-Language Pathology License
Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Valid Drivers license (Arizona Drivers Licenserequiredwithin 30 days of hire)

MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliancegreater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insuranceas described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION:Exceptional Education Department - District Wide - Sites May Vary

FTE :1.0 - 7.5 hours per day - 4positions available

Work Calendar:9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
