Manual/OEM Welder
Position: OEM Welder
Job Location: West Bend WI
Starting Date: Immediate
Employment Term: Assignment to Hire
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift):
1st Shift: MondayFriday 5:00 AM1:30 PM
2nd Shift: MondayFriday 2:00 PM10:00 PM
3rd Shift: SundayThursday 10:00 PM6:00 AM
Starting Pay: $18$26 per hour depending on experience
Summary
Reports to the Shift Supervisor and operates one or more welding machines or industrial robots to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications applying basic knowledge of welding theory on a production basis by performing the job duties.
Responsibilities
Lift work pieces manually or using a hoist and secure work pieces in fixtures or load automatic feeding devices
Calculate and set controls to regulate machine factors such as wire feed speed amperage polarity type of gas and type of weld rod
Start machine engage feed and observe operation
Inspect and measure welded work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
Adjust machine controls and guides as needed
Unload welded frames from robotic welder and place in appropriate containers
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
FANUC Robotic Certification preferred
Certificate or degree in welding preferred
At least one year of welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Successful completion of an internal welding test
