Housekeeping Assistant Cleaner

The Opportunity

At Infinite Aged Care our housekeeping assistants play a vital role in creating positive daily experiences for our residents. Working and reporting to the Hotel Services Team Leader you will be responsible to support the overall well-being and dignity of residents by delivering high-quality cleaning services that meet hygiene and infection control standards contributing to a homelike and welcoming atmosphere across all areas of the care home.

About the Role

In this hands-on fast-paced role you will:

• Clean resident rooms bathrooms lounges dining areas and hallways.
• Follow all infection prevention and hygiene protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
• Maintain work areas in a clean safe and hazard-free condition.
• Work collaboratively with the team showing initiative common sense and a willingness to help others.
• Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for residents making every interaction meaningful.

This is a physically active role requiring daily bending squatting lifting and pushing. You must be able to perform these tasks safely to protect yourself your team and our residents.

About You

• Previous experience in a laundry cleaning or similar support role.
• A warm friendly and compassionate approach with a genuine desire to support and engage with our residents.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety with the ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly with your team.
• Proactive in supporting residents in dining areas helping to maintain a safe clean and hazard-free environment.
• A confident problem-solver who can work independently take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable hardworking and flexible with good availability to cover a variety of shifts
