Based in our Redcliffe Office Monday to Friday the Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing financial accounting support across our team and will gain exposure to a broad range of functions.
The ideal candidate brings with them a relatable approachable outlook that ensures connection with colleagues across the business as well as a relaxed energy to help reduce stress and drive efficiencies.
Reporting to the Financial Controller this role is integral to ensuring financial integrity operational efficiency and compliance across Daltech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights analysis and decisionsupport.
- Lead cost analysis variance analysis and broader financial support for all business stakeholders.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity including regular reviews and reconciliations.
- Manage the endtoend monthend close process including general ledger and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly reporting packs and statutory submissions (e.g. FBT BAS) under Financial Controller oversight.
- Supervise accounts payable processes including timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Support ERP system enhancements and drive finance process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor forecast and interpret cash flows including analysis of trends and costreduction opportunities.
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register including depreciation journals project capitalisation impairments and asset-related reconciliations.
- Collaborate across finance and project teams contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing general team support where required.

What You Bring:
- Bachelor of Commerce/Finance/Business or similar degree
- CA or CPA qualification or working towards
- Min of 2 years post-grad experience
- Experience working in a financial accounting role
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong Excel and Office skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently or within team environment
- Able to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
