Alpine Health are seeking a Food Service Specialist (Cook) to join our Essential Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing healthy nutritious meals to complement and support the health needs of patients and consumers whilst also providing a diverse menu and meal options that meet the interests of Alpine Healths consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

The Food Services Specialist maintains the following primary responsibilities:

  • Compliance with Alpine Healths Food Safety program.
  • Production of diverse meal options that provides for consumer choice and meets nutritional and health need.
  • Contributes to a productive and enjoyable work environment through positive work place behavior
  • Service improvement to ensure the highest standards of food service.

Who we are looking for;

The Food Service Specialist (Cook) will have the following qualifications and experience.

  • Certificate 3 level qualification in a discipline related to food and catering services
  • Ability to work in a rotating roster across all shifts including weekdays weekends and public holidays
  • Basic computer skills
  • Food handlers certificate (can be obtained after commencement)
  • Food service experience in rural communities
