KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire quality blood samples through various phlebotomy techniques for patients across all age groups.
- Ensure accurate patient identification quality specimen labeling processing handling and transportation of specimens.
- Assist in the recovery of patients experiencing adverse reactions and provide rapid response to medical emergencies in the inpatient setting.
- Communicate effectively with patients and patient care teams explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer happiness.
- Manage sharps and biohazardous materials following regulatory guidelines to protect the safety of patients and staff.
- Work fluently with computer programs and systems and align with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other test administration and specimen collection as assigned.

We are currently hiring a full-time 40-hour Phlebotomist to work on site Monday-Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at our 500 Merrimack Street location in Lawrence! The role also requires one Saturday per month at our Haverhill location from 7:30 am to 11:30 am! Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Newly certified phlebotomists welcome!
