Structural Engineer Industrial & Utility Projects

A leading international design engineering and consultancy organization is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team. With a strong presence worldwide this organization is dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for the built and natural environment.

In this role you will independently deliver complex structural designs within the industrial and utility sectors. You will be part of a multidisciplinary environment working on innovative projects that emphasize sustainability circular design and modern digital engineering tools.

Role Description:

As a Structural Engineer you will:

Deliver technical designs and calculations for industrial and non-residential construction projects.

Work with state-of-the-art design tools digital applications and modern engineering methods.

Take responsibility for structural calculations in concrete steel and timber.

Maintain direct contact with clients ensuring quality progress and technical standards are met.

Actively contribute to sustainability strategies through innovative approaches to design.

Lead and mentor junior engineers and modellers where needed.

This is a broad and technically challenging position with significant autonomy where your expertise will play a central role in delivering high-profile multidisciplinary projects.

About the Team

You will be part of a dedicated Structural Design & Engineering advisory group. The team specializes in the design development and realization of building structures within both mono- and multidisciplinary projects. Their expertise also extends to construction safety error analysis and project management.

Sustainability innovative use of materials and design automation are key focus areas with strong support for professional development and career growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced engineer who enjoys working on complex structural challenges and collaborating with other disciplines.

Your profile:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (HBO/WO) or Architecture (with structural specialization such as HTI Concrete/Steel).

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and related safety guidelines.

Skilled in parametric and automated design BIM and specialist calculations.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Proactive client-oriented and eager to drive innovative solutions.

Willingness to travel within the Netherlands
