Montefiore is currently looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team at our Hunters Hill campus. A current opportunity exists for those seeking full time permanent employment.

The Role:

This key role will have you working within a team of 11 Occupational Therapists and 2 Occupational Therapy Assistants. This role includes regular staff in services and opportunities for CPD.

You will be part of a highly skilled and committed multi-disciplinary team including Physiotherapists Social Workers Speech Pathologist Dietitians Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants. Together the team and the organisation are working to exceed the standards of Aged Care provision in Australia.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current registration as an Occupational Therapist with APHRA
  • Experience with pressure area care cognitive assessment seating and wheelchair prescription functional assessments falls prevention and equipment prescription
  • Efficient time management and priority setting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team promoting an environment of teamwork.
  • Ability to work across sites as required
