About the Opportunity
Live Love Shine isBolton Clarkesphilosophy centered around livinga lifestyle that is fun fulfilling andabove all presentsexperiences tomake every day the best it can successful candidate willbe responsible forprovidinga highly engagingvariety ofart therapy sessionsto residents of different cognitive and physical abilities.
The successful candidate willbe requiredto work3 hours per week across the Homes diverse resident base including the Memory SupportNeighbourhood. Time spent at the Home will include session set up and documentation onBolton ClarkesResident Management System.
About You
We re seeking someone with the following:
Previousexperience inand able to provide arttherapy practice witha wide range ofindividuals and groups (including people living with dementia andother cognitive and physical impairments)
Previousexperience in providing group sessions for residents using a range of materials and medias meeting resident preferencesneedsand abilities
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and evidence of initiativeflexibilityand reliability in a busy work environment
Ability to work with a range of stakeholders includingresidents families and staff
High levelof oral and written communication skills
Proficient at record keeping and computer work
Proficient atcoordinating art showcases to display artworks produced by residents
Desirable:
Masterof Creative Arts Therapy
