Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Adult ER) to join a fast-paced emergency department. This role requires strong clinical judgment the ability to manage high-acuity patients and experience delivering emergency care to diverse adult populations.
Scheduling & Work Expectations
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday as needed
Time-off requests must be submitted at time of submission
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates not accepted within a 75-mile radius (RN only)
Charting System
EPIC experience required
Required Licensure & Certifications
Active New York State RN License (NY is non-compact)
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Required Clinical Skills
IV therapy (blood products central line care phlebotomy IV initiation/maintenance)
IV vasopressors
CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management
Stroke and neuro-trauma care (CVA TBI spinal cord injury)
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Adult and pediatric emergency care
Trauma care (gunshot wounds orthopedic trauma)
Triage and isolation precautions
