Overview
Waterway has an immediate opportunity of a part-time entry-level Recruiting Associate on our hourly recruiting team. This critical role will be the first point of contact for candidates applying to Waterways part-time store operations role and will provide a first-class candidate experience. This position will be part-time variable hour with a flexible schedule. Work on a team supporting candidates applying to positions across our 30 locations in 5 markets.
In this role youll contact screen and interview candidates while creating a positive and responsive experience for every applicant. Youll identify qualified candidates provide detailed explanations of position responsibilities schedules compensation and perks answer candidate questions and handle store interview scheduling. Ultimately youll deliver a great candidate experience and ensure that our stores have a regular schedule of interviews with qualified candidates.
This position offers a flexible schedule typically 18-24 hours per week with mostly daytime (9:00am 5:00pm) hours with some rotating weekend and holiday coverage. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in Talent Acquisition. This position is based at our Operations Support Corporate office in Chesterfield MO and reports to the Recruiting Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Contact candidates in a timely manner to schedule phone screen calls.
- Complete effective phone interviews evaluating candidate minimum qualifications and core competencies and match candidates job interests availability and skills to available store positions.
- Schedule selected candidates for in-person store interviews with hiring managers.
- Follow-up with store General Managers regarding interview availability and hiring needs.
- Create a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process;
- Promote Waterway to potential candidates search for and contact leads through various sources (schools employee referrals online job boards) to increase applications;
- Update candidate records and team documentation accurately (ATS other systems);
- Schedule day to maximize candidate interview time and complete all administrative tasks
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous recruiting experience or currently enrolled in a degree program pursuing HR Communications or Business - or previous experience as a Waterway employee
- Ability to work a flexible schedule - 18-24 hours and 3 days per week (Monday plus 2 other full days). Rotating Weekends and Holidays.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Professional appearance standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Goal orientation and drive to achieve results
- Ability to handle information confidentially
Physical Requirements
- Environmental office based with requirement to be able to work onsite at locations outside for limited periods of time.
- Physical must be able to walk sit for extended periods of time.
- Vision and Hearing Far and near visual acuity peripheral vision and depth perception. Hear understand and distinguish speech from other sounds.
- Language must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members managers and customers for business related purposes.
- Attendance maintain regular predictable and punctual attendance. Work as assigned schedule.
