Job Summary
Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic individuals to serve as Elementary School Teachers - Grades 1-5. Candidates will possess a deep devotion to the Catholic faith and love working with children fostering and strengthening students relationship with Christ. At Saint Leo we strive to answer the call to greatness; live with gratitude and compassion; focus on the whole child; make learning a way of life; and work together as a community.
Elementary teachers are responsible for building the foundational academic and spiritual skills - instructing students on a range of subjects such as reading language arts math science religion and social studies; creating engaging lesson plans managing classroom behavior assessing student progress communicating with parents and providing individualized support to help students develop academically socially and emotionally within a supportive learning environment. Applicants must also have strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and adjust teaching methods in response to daily needs.
