This role is part of Alcons Engineering function a team focused on improving quality processes products packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.
The Associate I Repair & Maintenance Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for assisting in planning designing and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment. You will coordinate maintenance work review engineering specifications and participate in equipment installation. Specifics include:
In this role a typical day will include:
- Performing hands-on troubleshooting repair and maintenance of equipment and systems
- Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance following established procedures
- Identifying technical issues and determining effective repair solutions
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics manuals and work instructions
- Operating and maintaining mechanical electrical and electronic components safely
- Using hand tools power tools and measuring instruments accurately
- Supporting installation modification and testing of equipment
- Ensuring equipment meets required specifications after repair
- Handling EQE activities to support shift operations
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Diploma Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Electronics or Mechatronics; Bachelors Degree is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of automation and HPLC
- Strong understanding of Preventive Maintenance
- Good communication skills in Bahasa.
- Good command of English is preferred
- Hands-on technical hands-on skills for troubleshooting and repair would be preferred
- Good understanding of Power BI or similar tools would be preferred
- Good knowledge of CSV (Computer System Validation) would be preferred
