The Role

The Job

• Create and publish engaging digital content across platforms in a fast-paced news environment.
• Generate ideas lead editorial discussions and produce original public-interest stories.
• Stay across breaking news foster contacts and track digital trends.
• Collaborate on quick-turnaround pieces and longer-term projects.
• Create stories that reflect Australias cultural geographic and socio-economic variety.

Position Description:

About You

Youll have:

• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to create original impactful stories and contribute editorial ideas.
• Skilled in researching reporting and producing accurate digital content under deadlines.
• Creative storyteller across video text visuals and multimedia formats.
• Strong digital production organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong network-building skills including engagement with diverse and underrepresented communities.
