What youll be doing

Join our CIBC Technology Operations team as an AI Security Engineer Co-op and have a real impact in making our clients ambitions a reality! This is a great opportunity to be a part of an innovation-focused team that is helping to drive CIBCs digital transformation by supporting the design and implementation of large-scale technology projects and this role you will partner with professionals to deploy infrastructure services to help protect the bank. You will help with designing building implementing and leveraging tools to protect the an AI Security Engineer Co-op you will use your development skills to support the team in gathering requirements implementing designs and providing real world solutions. You will ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client our team and stretch your communications and evaluation skills to help enhance the banking experience for the modern world.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However you do not need to be in a registered Co-op program to be considered for a role.

How youll succeed

  • Infrastructure Security - Integrates threat vulnerability IT and business to prioritize incident handling and investigations. Demonstrated experience with performing security policy assessments. Defines security configurations for threat detection and prevention tools. Provides remediation recommendations for non-compliances. Investigate emerging threats to AI and ML systems including adversarial attacks model poisoning data manipulation privacy risks and IP theft

  • API Integrations: Assisting in the design development and maintenance of API integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms ensuring secure reliable and scalable data exchange to support business objectives.

  • Champion Best Practices: You will adhere to the teams code-style work-flow patterns and project structure standards. You will participate in writing great documentation practicing test-driven development and properly annotating your code.
