About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer youll play a key role in building and delivering backend solutions that enable successful client onboarding and integrations. Youll work hands-on designing and implementing backend services supporting bespoke client requirements and ensuring our platform scales alongside growing client collaborate closely with internal partners across Implementation Data and Product as well as engage directly with client technical teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable high-quality ability to work independently adapt to changing requirements and contribute thoughtful technical solutions will be critical to the success of both the team and our clients.
What Youll Do
- Design build and maintain backend services and integrations to support clients
- Develop and deliver client-specific backend solutions in a scalable and maintainable way
- Collaborate directly with client technical teams to support integrations and resolve technical challenges
- Partner with internal teams including Product Implementation and Data to deliver projects end-to-end
- Act as a technical resource to teammates helping unblock work and share best practices
- Contribute to improving internal processes tooling and integration patterns as the team scales
- Support and mentor other developers fostering a collaborative team environment
What Were Looking For
- Several years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development
- Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript
- Professional experience working with MongoDB or similar databases
- Experience working on client integrations or onboarding-focused teams
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and backend services
- Comfortable working directly with clients and external technical stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing changing priorities
- A proactive self-directed mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly about technical concepts and propose iterative solutions

Your final offer will reflect your experience skillset and location. The listed range is a guideline and the range for this role may be modified.
Compensation at CapIntel goes beyond base pay. Depending on the role total rewards may include variable pay equity comprehensive benefits flexible time off and dedicated opportunities for growth and development.

For roles based in or eligible to work from Ontario the expected base salary range is:
$100000 - $150000 CAD
