Job Duties:

• Performs any and all custodial duties necessary to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions to make the Welcome Center as presentable as possible to visitors.
• Performs tasks necessary to the upkeep of Welcome Center buildings both inside and outside including the sidewalk adjacent to the building and other building elements as directed.
• Cleans bathrooms offices hallways and any other assigned areas by sweeping mopping scrubbing and polishing with tools and devices designed for these purposes. Includes outdoor areas such as sidewalks adjacent to the center.
• Empties and disinfects/decontaminates trash containers. Properly disposes of infectious waste in accordance with current rules and regulations when assigned.
• Mitigates minor safety hazards and reports all safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Observes and reports to the supervisor any needs for maintenance and repairs to the physical facility and its systems including but not limited to: mechanical systems plumbing HVAC paint and other equipment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
