Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Location:Pembroke North Carolina
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $42/hour (Travel)
Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC)
Position Type: Onsite (100%)
Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment. This role focuses on ensuring resident safety comfort and overall well-being while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with established policies procedures and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered
Monitor assess and document resident conditions and responses to care
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Collaborate with Registered Nurses physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
Identify and promptly report changes in resident condition
Follow individualized care plans and clinical protocols
Maintain compliance with state regulations safety guidelines and facility policies
Support a safe respectful and therapeutic environment for residents
Experience Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of Long-Term Care (LTC) and/or Rehabilitation nursing experience (required)
Licensure & Certifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (state-specific)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Additional Requirements
Ability to work full 12-hour night shifts
Strong clinical assessment communication and documentation skills
Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled hours
Experience in Long-Term Care and/or Rehabilitation settings is mandatory
