Job Summary

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for one of our clients in Corpus Christi TX.

Job Description:

Provide direct nursing care including assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Educate patients families and staff on health conditions treatments and preventive care
Ensure compliance with infection control safety and regulatory standards
Supervise and guide Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and direct care staff

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Nursing)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Strong clinical organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Experience in long-term care psychiatric or developmental disability settings preferred

Work hours:

Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift
Duration: 6-month duration with the possibility of longer
