The second shift Debur Finisher I is responsible for performing various types of manual grinding on products and partners with the Production Supervisor to ensure the machine shop meets daily production and quality goals.

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and will be located onsite in New Port Richey FL. The work schedule is 2nd shift Monday through Friday 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM and overtime is frequent.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities technical data technology software and services. U.S. citizenship U.S. legal permanent resident status protected person status or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization including if required an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

Set up and operate all equipment (i.e. Deburr Bench various Grinders etc.) in the Deburring area work with basic precision measuring instruments (i.e. caliper micrometer drop indicator etc.) to manufacture products to specifications and requirements.

Select proper methods and tools for deburring with or without assistance check work against the blueprint with or without assistance scrap parts according to standard operating procedures and maintain all records required by the Company.

Handle and dispose of waste including hazardous waste in accordance with applicable rules and regulations must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals oils and solvents perform preventative maintenance as required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High School diploma or GED and at least 1-2 years of debur experience or completion of a trade school apprenticeship program.

Basic math understand directions written instruction in English and good eye dexterity.

Ability to work overtime as required.

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Frequent bending lifting and standing for extended periods; frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. from floor to bench; occasional lifting to 35 lbs. Good eye and hand dexterity.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Use of hand-held tools (i.e. Die Grinder Dremel Tool etc.) for extended periods of time.
