Vehicle E/E Analyst - Specialist
Job Summary
We are looking for a Vehicle E/E Analyst to diagnose and analyze vehicle-level malfunctions and functional deviations within the vehicles E/E architecture throughout all validation and testing phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of more robust vehicle E/E systems by providing detailed insights from the analysis.
- Perform pre analysis and identify root causes of defects found during vehicle testing on complete vehicle.
- Analyze and interpret CAN/CANFD Flex ray LIN and automotive ethernet vehicle trace logs.
- Leverage advance vehicle data analysis tools to evaluate and interpret vehicle traces.
- Defect tracking and management throughout all stages of vehicle testing.
- Work pro-actively during vehicle builds validation phases and release deadlines.
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
- Engage in an innovative environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate within different disciplines to optimize the defect resolution processes.
Required Skills
- Knowledge about vehicle E/E architecture and total vehicle functionality.
- Understanding of vehicle E/E system diagrams and Bodnets drawing.
- Automotive communication protocols such as automotive ethernet CAN CAN-FD Flex ray LIN.
- Knowledge on trace analysis tools such as Vector CANoE Wireshark DLT viewer etc.
- Ability to interpret test drive data logs and sensor outputs to identify potential root causes of defects.
- Experience with defect tracking and management tools such as Jira or equivalent systems.
- Troubleshooting and debugging of defects in vehicle E/E systems or E/E architecture.
- Familiar to Vehicle level testing.
- System thinking and Analytical skills
- Familiar with automotive diagnostics UDS 14229.
- Programming skill in Python scripting for automation.
- Global stakeholder management and communication.
- Have basic understanding of confluence.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and documentation.
- Quick learner and self-driven individual.
Good to have
- Knowledge on ISO 26262
- Knowledge on BMW process and tools.
- Remote software updates OTA knowledge.
